China's e-commerce logistics index hit a six-year high in May

China's e-commerce logistics index in May was 113.9 points, up 0.7 points from the previous month. The fulfillment rate, load rate and satisfaction rate rose by 0.9, 0.2 and 0.4 points respectively, and the e-commerce logistics market continued to maintain a good situation of volume and quality improvement.

 

The inventory turnover index continued to fall and the cost index continued to decline. In May, affected by the increase in enterprise inventory, the inventory turnover index fell 0.6 points from the previous month. The cost index fell 0.6 points from the previous month, after four consecutive months of decline, the cost level of enterprises has been the same as last year, but there is still room to fall.

 

China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing believes that in May, the supply and demand of e-commerce logistics continued to maintain a good operating trend, and the total index of e-commerce logistics rose for three consecutive months. With the approach of the "618" mid-year online shopping promotion, major mainstream e-commerce platforms have warmed up in advance, promoting the rise of e-commerce business volume.
