According to the operator of the China-Europe Railway (Yiwu-Madrid), the train, loaded with 70 standard containers of auto parts, wine and other goods, will pass through France, Kazakhstan and other countries, is expected to arrive in Yiwu, Zhejiang province at the end of May this year, with a total journey of 13,052 kilometers.

Alicia Barrera, Director General of the Department of International Trade and Investment of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise of Spain, said at the departure ceremony that in 2023, Spain will export a total of 39 million euros of goods and import a total of 48 million euros of goods through the China-Europe Express (Yiwu-Madrid). She said that the train not only connects the two countries and regions by rail, but also symbolizes the cooperation and friendship between China and Spain.

 

Borja Van Hul, president of Madrid City, said that in addition to trade between the two countries, Madrid and even the Spanish people have become more and more interested in Chinese culture in recent years.
