It was the first time that CCPF and Tourism Fair were held in the same period, but it represented a new exploration and new attempt to promote the deep integration of “culture + tourism” after the establishment of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and brought new perspectives and opportunities for accelerating the integrated development and transformation and upgrading of the culture and tourism industries. The two fairs followed the concept of “promoting tourism with culture, and enhancing culture with tourism”, “integration as much as possible”, and the theme of “integration, innovation and beauty”, focused on exhibitions and transactions of cultural products and tourism products, displayed the new achievements in the development of the culture and tourism industries, and aimed to create a "Chinese model" for the integration of culture and tourism.
The fairs offered 100,000 square meters and 4,192 standard booths for exhibition, and invited a total of 1,277 enterprises and organizations from 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China and 18 countries and regions outside China including Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Venezuela and North Korea. Products from 77 different countries and regions were exhibited in 10 exhibition areas including the Center Pavilion, Cultural and Creative Pavilion, Intangible Culture Heritage Pavilion, Provinces and Cities Pavilion, Beautiful Villages Pavilion, E-sports Pavilion, Zhejiang Pavilion, Animation & Entertainment Pavilion and Poly Art Pavilion, where more than 30 featured activities that are closely related to the exhibition were held.
