  • National Cross-border E-commerce Exposition will be Held in Yiwu in July

  •     Shanghai is the largest commercial, financial and exhibition center in China. In order to effectively expand the influence of Yiwu as well as its market, exhibition, e-commerce and logistics industry, and to promote the "the Belt and Road" cooperation in Yiwu via the help of Shanghai as a channel, on March 15th, Yiwu Market Development Committee took the lead in organizing Yiwugo, Mall Exhibition, Taibo Exhibition, Tianmu Logistics, Laila Network, PCCW E-Commerce, Yiwu Jimao, Seacat Cross-border and other entities to Shanghai to attend the second SIE and Press Conference of the City Development Summit for Comprehensive National Cross-border E-commerce Test Area. The first conference was held in Shanghai, and the second conference will be held in Yiwu from July 18 to July 20 due to the approval of Yiwu as the pilot region for comprehensive reforms.
        It is understood that the conference was jointly organized by the Overseas Education Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University, the Specialized Committee of China Cross-border E-commerce and the Belt and Road Institute of Shanghai Jiaotong University. It was composed of one exhibition, one high-end summit, four platform Forums as well as a series of supporting activities. The purpose of the conference was to give full play to the economic advantages of the exhibition and build a platform for resource sharing, thus to promote the integration of local industries, the cross-industry integration, and the integration of innovation chain and industry chain. As a result, it can put forward new ideas for optimizing industrial structure and improving the quality and efficiency of supply system. Over 300 representatives of related platform enterprises, platform service enterprises, cross-border e-commerce integrated service enterprises, foreign trade enterprises and cross-border e-commerce enterprises participated in the press conference.
        During the conference, representatives of Yiwu Market Development Committee also went to Shanghai Jiaotong University, and initiated the discussion with the leaders of "the Belt and one road" Institute, the Overseas Education Institute and the M-PARK Cross-border E-commerce Ecological Community. Relevant leaders of Shanghai Jiaotong University said that, they will cooperate with Yiwu on cross-border e-commerce, exhibition projects, and cross-border e-commerce ecological community incubation projects, and will conduct a field trip to Yiwu to have in-depth discussions on the introduction of project, as well as on the participation of "the Belt and Road" International City Economic and Trade Cooperation Dialogue.
