  •     On September 11th, 189 cross-border e-commerce export parcels carrying Yiwu small commodities passed through customs successfully and boarded the flight from Yiwu airport to Taipei. This is the first direct freight export for cross-border e-commerce parcels, indicating a new direct airfreight mode has been added besides the land transport mode of China-Europe Train, which will also accelerate the "going out" of the small commodities through the cross-border e-commerce mode. Prior to this, the cross-border e-commerce parcels of Yiwu have to be transferred for customs from Shanghai and Hangzhou airports. With this direct airfreight, these export commodities will be cleared throughout the customs locally, which is not only a new convenient and efficient export channel for the cross-border e-commerce commodities, but will also further enrich the airport business types of Yiwu.
Zhang Jun, the operation director of the supply chain management company for this batch cross-border export commodities, said that these goods were purchased in Yiwu and declared through the "unified version of cross-border customs e-commerce export" system, and were directly carried out from Yiwu Airport after receiving customs supervision at the cross-border e-commerce supervision center of Yiwu. “From the resource organization to declaration of export, they are all processed by one-stop, it is very convenient and labor-saving”, as said by Zhang Jun.
